As a therapist, I believe that healing occurs through authentic connection, deep listening, and an understanding of the whole person, encompassing mind, body, and spirit. I provide individual therapy for adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and identity-related challenges. I hold a strong clinical interest in supporting transgender youth and their families, as well as individuals coping with medical complexities or chronic health conditions. After two decades in health care, I transitioned into mental health with a deep commitment to helping others feel seen, empowered, and whole. I draw from a variety of approaches to meet the unique needs of each client, integrating evidence-based methods with mindfulness and body-based practices.
My work is rooted in psychodynamic insight, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), self-compassion, and somatic awareness. I am trained in trauma-informed care and guided by a strengths-based, person-centered philosophy. Clients often describe me as warm, intuitive, and deeply present. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe exploring their inner worlds, uncovering patterns, and building resilience. I believe in honoring each person’s wisdom and story while offering practical tools for change. Therapy with me is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in curiosity rather than judgment.
